- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2020 - Irish Examiner - September 2021
Given its youth, this pours a bright purple and is still very much about primary fruits — it will mellow pleasingly in the next few years. Juicy raspberry and red cherry fruits, supple and textured with earthy red-currants on the mid-palate and finish.
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2021 - Sharp Magazine - "An absolutely show-stopping choice"
Louis Latour Bourgogne Pinot Noir is an absolutely show-stopping choice to go with a turkey dinner. It has brilliant acid, a beautiful texture and a little winter spice from its judicious use of oak.. ("What's in your cellar?" with Matt Kopysh, Christine Sismondo, December 2023, UK)
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2020 - Wine Enthusiast - 92/100
Focused aromas of black cherry, rhubarb, wild mint and turned earth come together in the glass for a complex nose. The palate offers deep red cherries beautifully balanced by mushroom, thyme and black tea notes. Drying tannins are balanced by brisk acidity that provides lift to this dark-fruited profile. Approachable now. (Anna-Christina Cabralos., USA)
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2017 - Wine Align - Canada - August 2019 - 91/100
I like the 2017 vintage of this classic red Burgundy. It is pure clean and lively with lots of flavour and has a fine structure. Expect aromas of red cherry and raspberry with some tobacco and warm spice notes. It is midweight and structured with very good length and a dry mineral finish. Try with grilled lamb cutlets. Very good length. Tasted August 2019. Steve Thurlow
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2015 - The Guernsey Press & Star - December 2016
This is a classic, well-balanced wine with fresh redcurrant and wild strawberry fruit flavours and a smooth texture. Enjoy with game, roasted red peppers or mature hard cheeses. (By Victoria Mason & Nick Room, UK)
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2013 - Tom Cannavan's wine-pages.com - August 2015 - 86/100
A little reduced, opening with swirling to pretty cherry fruit. A touch of baked plum pastry. On the palate sweet and quite full, with a nuttiness and dry earthiness in the finish. (UK)
- Bourogne Pinot Noir 2012 - Western Mail - August 9th 2014 - "Lots of purity"
It has lots of purity in the red fruits on the nose, no elaborate oak or fireworks, just a little sweetness on the bouquet. In the mouth the fruit is brisk, with quite lively acidity and a little earthy tone through the mid-palate and finish. By Neil Cammies (UK)
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012 - Decanter September 2014 - 16.25/20Summer berry nose with a palate of good acidity and flavours of cranberry and red cherry. Quite long, with a peppery finish.
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012 - Woman & Home - Tim Atkin - March 2014 - "Burgundy Bests"It's easier to find good "inexpensive" red Burgundy than white, but this certainly fits the bill. It's light, juicy and fruity, with crunchy pomegranate and red cherry flavours and some appealing raspberry sweetness. By Tim Atkin (UK)
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012 - The Times - December 21st 2013 - "Rich, gamey, rose-scented spice"If there are only a few of you and the milder game such as partridge is on the menu, opt for a juicy burgundy such as Louis Latour's fine 2012 Bourgogne Pinot Noir made from low-yielding 25-year-old vines and brimming with rich, gamey, rose-scented spice. Just the ticket, too, with honey roast ham and cumberland sauce. By Jane MacQuitty (UK).
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012 - Western Morning News - December 14th 2013 - "A classis red Burgundy"Louis Latour Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012 is what I call a classic red burgundy. This is a young, vigorous wine with a pellucid ruby colour and textbook pinot noir aromas of bright fresh cherries and raspberries. The fruit corresponds fully, flooding the tastebuds with vivid juicy flavours clothed in a firm but gentle grip of tannin. It's the perfect red wine with fatty, rich and complicated dishes, in particular turkey with all the trimmings, or Boxing Day cold cuts. By Ned Halley (UK).
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2012 - Sunday Express - Jamie Goode - November 2013 - "Lovely"Celebrity red grape pinot noir hails from Burgundy, but it's rare to find even vaguely affordable examples that taste good. This one, with its lovely, silky, red-cherry and plum fruit, fits the bill. It would be a good match for the beetroot, Gorgonzola and pear salad. Jamie Goode (UK).
- Bourgogne Pinot-Noir 2010 - My Wines And More - May 2013 - 84/100Pale ruby. Red berries, ever so slightly spicy, and a touch vegetal nose. Fresh acidity, ripe and few tannins, a bit hollow but quite elegant fruit, clean, good length.
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2009 - My Wine Pal - October 2011 - "Should not be overlooked"This is an entry level Pinot Noir for Louis Latour, but should not be overlooked. This wine was pale garnet in colour. Light cherry nose. Raspberry, brambleberry and vanilla flavours. Medium tannins and high acidity. Cherry flavours show up in the mid palate. Nice wine. By Mark Anthony (Canada).

- Pinot Noir Bourgogne 2007 - Nat Decants Wine review - February 2011 - 89/100Light ruby red color; aromas of cherry, candied raspberry, with earthy, smoky notes, dry, medium bodied, with strawberry and red fruit flavors. Good acid balance; sour cherry finish. My note: Pleasingly tart cherries and fresh-turned earth: this is classic Pinot Noir Old World style. Not fruit forward but balanced, with mouth-watering acidity and a medium-bodied silky texture. Lovely long finish. A wonderful wine for an elegant evening. Food matches: turkey, roast chicken, veal, lamb shank, roast beef, grilled salmon, duck, game birds.
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2007 - Telegraph.co.uk - June 19th 2009 - "Inimitably Pinot"Pale, almost rosé in colour and rather muted on the nose. Inimitably pinot though, with expected game and vegetal notes and ideal for those who find New World pinot a bit too much.
- Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2007 - Traveling Golfer - June 2006 - "Silky Smooth"Sweet raspberry aromas to go with touches of cinnamon and cloves. It all follows to the palate. Just a nice, flavourful and light-weight pinot that's silky smooth going down the hatch. By Rick Van Sickle, Canada.
