Description

Typicity is of great importance for this wine. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the lesser-known yet well placed vineyards of the southern Côte-d'Or, harmoniously united with small parcels of superior Santenay or Auxey-Duresses grapes. This gives an overall result startlingly reminiscent of a fine Côte de Beaune wine.

Tasting Note
With a brilliant ruby color, the red Burgundy "Cuvée Latour" 2016 offers aromas of red fruits and undergrowth. The palate is round with notes of blackcurrant, morello cherry and licorice. Beautiful lenght with nice mellow tannins.

2003 Bourgogne Rouge - Burghound.com - April 2005 - 84 points :(Entirely from Côte d'Or grapes). Quite ripe aromatically but obviouly a pinot-based wine with rich, round and sweet flavors that are approachable now but should improve for a year or two. A delicious effort. 84/now+
