Very flinty and smoky with attractive pineapple aroma. So juicy that it's a no-brainer on the generous and almost succulent palate. Moderate acidity, but bright and clean at the very harmonious finish. Drink or hold.

This is so generous and juicy with a lovely interplay of flinty character and melted-butter richness. Nice orange and pear flavors from the get-go, but with aeration a nice hazelnut note develops.

From a celebrated producer with a solid track record, Louis Latour craft wines at every level, and rarely disappoints. Here, generosity and elegance are the hallmarks of this Burgundy blonde. Scented with light honeysuckle, acacia and creamy vanilla, the round, rich palate shows tropical fruit characters, a hint of pineapple and gentle vanilla, punctuated with ripe, apricot fruit, finishing fresh and balanced.

Light gold in colour with delicate yellow stone fruits, florality and some leesiness; fresh orchard and stone fruits with brazil nut and macadamia, honeysuckle, sweet spices and good savoury underpinnings; very adept and harmonious, complex and saline. Good+.

Serve as an aperitif wine or as a perfect accompaniment to crayfish, fish and light meat dishes, autumnal vegetables or a mature hard cheese, such as Cheddar or Comté.

Apple, lemon and wet stone flavors are allied to a fleshy texture and overall harmony here. Lively and firm, with a lingering, mouthwatering finish.

A beautiful white Burgundy that's perfect for Christmas from Louis Latour. The vines are grown on limestone and clay soils and are 30 years old on average, and one would swear this has seen a touch of oak given the creamy, almond and lightly buttery notes of the nose, but it has not. As well as that, there is ripe orchard fruit and a lovely sense of both richness and clarity. In the mouth the ripe, mouth-filling texture and sweetness is delicious, but that's because the core of mineral-flecked citrus acidity runs like a spine too, into a long, creamy finish. Pretty floral and citrus-suffused nose. There is good mid-palate volume to the rounded and agreeably rich flavors that are delicious and easy-to-like if not especially complex.

Such a ripe, peach and almost mango like fragrance here, the vintage character perhaps, but lots of exotic ripeness amongst those lightly honeyed notes. On the palate too it is still light to medium bodied but has a sense of luscious ripeness over the orangey acidity of the finish. Long. (UK)
